With the official groundbreaking ceremony, zebris Medical has laid the foundation for the next chapter in its corporate history. A second company building is being constructed directly adjacent to the company’s headquarters in the Galgenbühl industrial area – a forward-looking investment project with a total volume of €5.4 million.

The ceremony was attended by Managing Directors Wolfgang Brunner and Norbert Dellekönig, representatives of the shareholders, planning firm Kuhn Consulting, Cologne-based architect Peter Böhm, and officials from the City of Isny.

Space for Innovation and Growth

The new four-story building will offer approximately 2,700 square meters of space for state-of-the-art development, production, and sales facilities. It will also include a dedicated training academy for up to 80 participants and a spacious company bistro with rooftop terrace. Additional parking for employees is also part of the project.

“We need more space and aim to consolidate the production of our pressure measurement systems and dental components at a central location in Isny,” explains Managing Director Wolfgang Brunner. The existing production site in Seltmanns will in future be used to manufacture a newly developed generation of gait trainers – specifically designed for home use, rehabilitation centers, physiotherapy practices, and senior care facilities.

Architectural Continuity

The existing building – designed a decade ago by the renowned architectural duo Gottfried and Peter Böhm – will continue to house key administrative, development, and sales departments. The new facility will complement the existing structure both functionally and architecturally.

A Strong Commitment to the Isny Location

The City of Isny welcomes the expansion as a clear signal of the company’s long-term commitment to the region and its economic development. Completion of the building is scheduled for autumn 2026.
