Expertise in movement - advanced training in gait analysis at zebris

In-depth expertise, hands-on training, and professional exchange in Isny

In-depth expertise, hands-on training, and professional exchange in Isny

Understanding human gait dynamics is key to improving movement effectively.
This was once again confirmed on the weekend of April 4 and 5, 2025, when 24 dedicated professionals from orthopaedics, physiotherapy, sports medicine, and movement analysis gathered in Isny for the zebris training course “Gait & Running Analysis and Gait Therapy in (Sports) Orthopaedics.”

Throughout the intensive seminar sessions, participants were introduced to fundamental biomechanical principles and practical applications — with a particular focus on analysing standing, walking, and running data using the zebris FDM system. They gained in-depth insights into data acquisition, interpretation of key gait parameters, and how these findings can be used to support therapy decisions or provide tailored orthopaedic solutions.

The course was designed for both newcomers and experienced practitioners, offering a well-balanced mix of theory, hands-on training, and real-world case examples.

Expertise that moves

Led by Prof. Dr. Thomas Jöllenbeck, Head of the Institute for Biomechanics at the Lindenplatz Clinic, and Dr. Juliane Pietschmann, research associate specialising in movement analysis and biomechanics, participants benefited from a wealth of clinical and scientific expertise.

With over 1,100 gait analyses conducted annually, both instructors brought exceptional practical relevance to the course – a true asset for anyone working in functional movement diagnostics.

Exchange at eye level

Beyond the technical content, professional exchange among peers played a central role in the event. Direct dialogue with the instructors, open discussions, and collaborative practical sessions made the weekend a true source of inspiration for participants’ daily work.

And of course, the supporting programme added to the experience: whether hands-on gait analysis or a guided city tour full of charm – there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Thank you for your trust

We would like to thank all participants for their interest, questions, and the lively exchange – and of course our instructors for their outstanding and motivating guidance throughout two intensive days.

The next seminar dates will be published soon on our event page.
